Maxxis Supermaxx 120/70/ ZR17 Sport gets TT seal of approval

Speaking at the close of last month's Isle of Man TT, the event¹s chief travelling marshal Dick Cassidy gave us his thoughts on the Maxxis Supermaxx 120/70 ZR17 Sport tyres he'd been using.

"The Supermaxx 120/70 ZR17 Sport performed far better that the Dunlops fitted to the Yamaha R1 as standard; the handling became predictable and the Maxxis didn't slide around as much or bobble under the extreme pressures of the TT course.

"Once they did get hot they remained predictable and controllable­ a massive improvement on the Dunlops."

"If it was just one of the marshals saying this you could put it down to a fluke, but I have seven guys out there running Maxxis The Supermaxx 120/70 ZR17 Sport  all saying the same thing ­ the bike squats down through the corners and handles better on these tyres."
